"I recently attended both the advanced beekeeping field day and queen bee rearing weekend at Elouera Vale with Harvey and Denis, both highly experienced and knowledgeable beekeepers. The format is a good mix of theory (30%) and practical hands-on work (70%). Harvey and Denis are both very friendly and happy to pass on their knowledge in a relaxed environment - not to mention on a beautiful farm amongst the native gum trees and even some friendly camels. The advanced course is perfect for those who are already familiar with the basics of beekeeping and wish to go a little deeper with their practice. The queen rearing weekend is for those who would like to learn about raising your own queens. Lynne will serve the most delicious morning tea whilst you learn from true experts of their craft. I highly recommend these courses to any beekeepers."
